2. Business Terms & Conditions

2.1 Services

TH-Design provides:

Laser engraving and etching

3D printing and additive manufacturing

Prototyping and small-scale production

Engineering and product design, including CAD drawings and digital models

All services are carried out to the customer’s approved specifications and supplied information.

2.2 Quotes and Orders

Quotes are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.

Work begins once the quote is approved and any required deposit received.

Customers must check and confirm all drawings, files, dimensions, and details before production.

TH-Design reserves the right to refuse any work that is unsafe, illegal, or breaches copyright or intellectual property law.

2.3 Payments

Payment is due upon completion unless agreed otherwise in writing.

Deposits (up to 50%) may be required before work starts.

Payment methods include bank transfer or another agreed option.

2.4 Design and Intellectual Property

Customers must ensure they have rights or permission to use any files, logos, designs, or data provided.

For CAD and design projects, TH-Design retains ownership of all digital design files until full payment is received.

Where custom design work is commissioned, intellectual property rights can be transferred to the client once the final balance is paid (if agreed in writing).

TH-Design is not responsible for copyright or patent infringements arising from customer-supplied designs.

2.5 Prototyping and 3D Printing

3D printed or prototype items are intended for testing, concept, or visualisation purposes unless otherwise specified.

Functional strength or performance is not guaranteed unless explicitly agreed in the project scope.

Small variations in colour, surface finish, or dimensional accuracy may occur due to material properties and manufacturing processes.

2.6 Turnaround and Delivery

Estimated completion times will be provided at order.

TH-Design aims to meet all deadlines but cannot be held responsible for delays outside our control (e.g. material supply issues or courier delays).

Delivery or postage fees will be agreed before dispatch.

2.7 Returns and Refunds

Because most items are custom-made, returns are only accepted if the product is faulty or the error was made by TH-Design.

Issues must be reported within 7 days of receiving the goods, with supporting photos if possible.

Faulty items will be repaired, replaced, or refunded at our discretion.

2.8 Liability

TH-Design’s total liability is limited to the value of the goods or services supplied.

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, such as loss of profit or downtime.

Customers are responsible for ensuring the suitability of parts, components, or designs for their intended use.
